HODICKÝ, Jan; FRANTIŠ, Petr; HOPJAN, Miroslav. DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF DISTRIBUTED SIMULATION BASED ON THE HIGH LEVEL ARCHITECTURE AND BASE OBJECT MODEL IN THE CZECH ARMED FORCES. In: ICMT 2011. Brno: Unversity of Defense, 2011, p. 1041-1046. ISBN 978-80-7231-787-5.

SUMMARY: The article deals with the results of the Czech Armed Forces military research project with code name “DISIM” that was solved in the Communication and Information System Department at the University of Defense during 2008 and 2010. This project was aimed on implementation of distributed training environment based on the High Level Architecture rules together with all design phases in Federation Development and Execution Process (FEDEP) and Base Object Model (BOM). The first part of this article contains description of FEDEP, BOM and overall architecture of federation that is composed of two main parts. The first one is ground vehicle virtual simulator UAZ and the second one is VR Forces constructive simulator. The second part discusses all design parts of DISIM project in respect of FEDEP and BOM. The last part treats implementation phase of distributed environment and shows selected executed scenario.

Keywords: Distributed Simulation, HLA, BOM.
