SUMMARY: The society in the Czech Republic has solved the issue of the security in many directions. The increasingly evolving technology has stronger impact on the society and the society has to challenge many threats, which can disrupt society in a narrow range of work or also can paralyze the entire system. It is therefore necessary to understand the concept of security as a necessary part of society. The security has considerable importance for each citizen, for every organization and for the society too. The misunderstanding of the importance of the security, or lack of the security, or any breach of the security has fatal consequences. The outlook on the issue of the security has transformed according to the evolution of the human society. We can state, that security becomes the independent scientific discipline. It is therefore necessary to have a rational management of the security preparation for persons who may hold positions in the security management in various organizations, government offices etc.
