The NATO Feasibility study describes in its Annex 2D possible implementation of Service Oriented Architecture approach in the NATO NEC environment. In our department, we are working on a new presentation layer that uses virtual reality devices for the Czech C2 system – Ground Forces Command and Control System (GFTCCS). With respect to the actual trends we decided to use the Service Oriented Architecture approach for the presentation layer architecture. The article will describe how the concrete parts of the presentation layer architecture are realized as a Web Services and all the issues that came up from this SOA approach.
