The event took place in Split in the Lora Naval Base. The Course began on the 20th August 2016 and lasted for two weeks. Among the 20 Croatian cadets participating on the Course there were 3 participants from Hungary, 3 participants from Poland and 2 participants from Slovak Republik. The Course was organised by the Cadet Battalion of the Croatian Defence Academy "Dr. Franjo Tuđman" with the help of the instructors from the Special Forces Command and the Croatian Navy. 

Combat Swimmer Course is a special kind of training of cadets in skills of operating and survival on sea and land. It encompases advanced topics of overcoming water obstacles by swimming or rowing and additionally develops basic naval skills as well as tactics, techniques and procedures of operating on land.

The official language of the Course was English and upon successful completion of the Course the participants were awarded Combat Swimmer Course Badge and Certificate.
