Faculty of Cybernetics Military Technical Academy was founded in 1968, as a response to the growing demand of the Armed Forces and the national economy for specialists in the use of methods and means of information technology systems of command and control of forces and means of combat support information and decision-making processes. Throughout its history, the current Department of Cybernetics was the center ahead of the present, both in research and teaching. The creators of the Faculty correctly assessed that information technology, automation and operations research, and will be the carriers of civilization indicator of the turn of the century. The quality of each academic department provides the level of professional training of its graduates. As of today confronts scientific-teaching staff of the Faculty of new challenges and responsibilities.
