The Lifelong Education Centre is the basic department of the Armed Forces Academy of General Milan Rastislav Štefánik (AFA) in Liptovský Mikuláš. The centre provides further education and its activities, rights, duties and organisational structure are adapted so that it can provide further education, training and exercises .
The Armed Forces Academy also performs tasks as the Partnership for Peace Education and Training Centre. The academy provides education and training for the members of foreign armed forces at the International Staff Officers’ Course, which is integrated in the Lifelong Education Centre structure.
