Foreign Language Center has as main goal the organization of intensive, non intensive, learning and refresher courses of foreign languages for the military and civilian personnel within the MOND and, for individuals within civil society.
Foreign Language Center is a military educational institution within the “Carol I” National Defense University and it has as main goal the organization of intensive, non intensive, learning and refresher courses of foreign languages for the military and civilian personnel within the MOND and, for individuals within civil society.
The studied foreign languages are:
- English
- French
- German
- Russian
- Greek
- Arabic
- Chinese
- Turkish
- Romanian (for foreigners).
The Foreign Languages Center coordinates the linguistic evaluation of the selected candidates to fulfill international missions or to occupy certain job positions within the MOND.
Learning objectives
- to improve linguistic performance in: listening, speaking, reading and writing
- to get familiar with the culture and civilization of the respective people
- to assimilate NATO military operational terminology, for English and French languages, and the general military terminology for the other remaining languages
